Hi,
I am an Electrical Engineering Student in France (at INSA Lyon) and I am in an Electrotechnical club. We have built a Tesla Coil and we drive it using IGBTs (H-Bridge/4 IGBTs) but we have an issue with the frequency and the current (too high / out of specifications) so we have to replace them offently (because it breaks  ). So we are looking to change the control circuit and replace them with SiC transistors and we need some advice.
We have an RMS current arround 90A (per IGBT collector) but while driving the Tesla Coil the IGBT collector sees arround 700A so do you have any SiC that could fit the requirement or do we need to take 8 transisors (or 16) to do the H-bridge ? (or maybe there is other solutions)
Does the command work the same as for "classical" MOSFET ?
And I can't find simple working LTSPICE model for SiC, do you have any?
