No detail about it in the datasheet. This is quite an old part design. I'm looking for the thermal resistance of the industrial version of the part (-40 to 85°C). I'm quite sure that the self-heating is minimum. But, I want characterization data that proves that it is.

Hello,
The Value of 'Theta JA' (thermal resistance of junction to air) depends of the package of the EEPROM :
- SO8N (150 mils) : 219°C/W
- TSSOP8: 255°C/W
- MLP 2x3: 67°C/W
- WLCSP : < 40°C/W
