Hello:

I am new to microcontrollers, old time programmer, Fortran, PL1, machine code. Would like to control a 50w shaded pole motor including an rpm sensor to stabilize speed. Can you suggets a microcontroller I could use?

Hi Bela, I am not sure but I was told that PIC16F84 might do the things you are looking to do.
