Hi all,

Compiler-IDE: Keil uVision 3.2

Target: ST712FR2T6

Dev board: Hitex - ST710F

JTAG debugger: Keil ULINK

I am having a great deal of difficulty programming a ST712FR2T6, we 'appear' to be able access using JTAG without any connection problems, however when trying to erase or program, an error says:

Flash timeout, reset target and try again.

If we attempt to run from ram, we get a verification error along the lines of offset X value x expected y.

I have scoped the lines of the JTAG and all appear very much alike our dev board which works ok.

any ideas?

Hello DaveE,

Try to reset[once or twice] your circuit from the RAM mode. Then erase your target[once or twice] in the RAM mode and then try to progarm it in the FLASH mode. I think this may help you out.
