Is there any known quantification for how the calibration improves the accuracy of the ADCs?

Calibration of the ADC on the STM32H7 is not optional. It is required before you use the ADC. If you don't, ST doesn't guarantee the performance specified in the datasheet.

Anecdotally, results from the ADC without calibration are typically wildly off--thousands of counts of error.

In general, calibration correct offset error (adc reports non-zero with inputs shorted) or linearity. If accuracy is limited by noise in your application, than not expect much doing calibration, likely 'd not be any difference
