STM32CubeMX 4.9.0 and write protected .ioc

Gee whiz! how about popping up an error message if the .ioc file is write protected and the user hits save and then exits!

Crap. Good thing my changes were not extensive but highly irritating nonetheless.

Maybe the authority problem.

The easy solution is copy the specific folder under the Program Files\.....\xxx\xxx to other authority free folder.

You totally miss the point.

A considered user interface would a) indicate a file is read-only, and not permit edits, or b) catch the write failure, and prompt for a ''Save As'' alternative, or push back into the application so this could be done.
