STM32 metrology driver, HAL returning negative values. QE is questioning why negative values, feels this must be HW or FW bug.

Some of the parameters which can return negative values (not all the time, sometimes positive) are: Power Factor, ReactivePowerReceived, ApparentPowerDelivered, and whatever these parameters are:

Vmom = -162  AEload = -0.174030   Imom = -43   PF = -0.008001      REload = -0.22418

Yes that is what we are using. Are you familiar with this package and why it may send negative values for the above readings?
