I use a STM32f4vgt6 and I configured the PWM to control a DC motor. The problem is that when I measure the output PWM tention I notice that it does not exceed the 3V. When I connect the VDD pin to 5V, the problem is solved and the max output be came 5V ! Who can explain me this phenomenon ? thank you in advence

Doesn't that exceed the specifications of the part?

The IO is driven by the VDD supply. If you want 5V, you'd need to use the FT (Five volt Tolerant) pins in Open-Drain mode, and pull them to 5V externally.

Not sure the pins are capable of driving motors directly.
