    Hi !

    Is there a memory protection unit MPS in the STM32.

    I didn't find anything about it in the reference

    manual and in the data sheet ?

    I read that this unit is optional and so I don't

    if there is one and if I can control it...

    If there is one where is the documentation ?

    Hi Manfred,

    STM32 does not include a MPU, MPU is optional in Cortex-M3 macroarchitecture from ARM however it costs a lot of silicon and is not suitable for most of target applications and Market segments where cost is Key sensitive ! in addition to performance and low power :-]
