    Hello Trevor,

    Thanks for replying. :D

    When I tried to program my STMicro using STM32 ST-LINK Utility, it says that ''Some flash sectors are protected'' and ''Readout Protection is Enabled''. When i tried to disable write and readout protection using option byte tab it could not be done.

    Any suggestions to overcome this issue are highly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    ''STM32 utility is one such program but it doesnot work''

    ST flash loader works for me. What is it that does not work for you?

    Do you want to download over serial or USB or something else?

    So you are using ST Link (you didn't say in your OP). I don't use ST Link so I can't help. Can you confirm the way you want to connect to the device to download the binary firmware image (I presume it is firmware) e.g.

    * Serial

    * USB

    * JTAG

    * SWD

    * Don't care

    You could use ''ST flash loader'' with a serial or USB connection to the STM32
