Good morning,I'm working on some new automotive designs and on the current boards i found what are , presumibly, STM components but i can't really identify them with the offerings in the online catalogs, (at least IF they are STM engineering samples)The body is specifically PowerSSO-16 but the marking of the components i found for now present similar but very different top markings2HTS90 D1B1HTS20 D11HTS10 200U2HTS30 D1B1HTS50 D1(these 5 are the ones i classified so far) Can i have some help in documenting them, if they indeed are VND productsBellow a picture of one of the components, there are all the same except the top markings (no logos or such)  

Hello experts!I’m developing a three-phase motor control application based on the STGIF5CH60TS-L. As suggested by the datasheet I have RC-filters at all low voltage inputs with the required 100ns time constant, in my case it’s 1kOhm and 100pF due to the driving limitation of the MCU’s PWM outputs of 4mA at 3,3V VDD. When I measure the input signals at the IPM, I can see a negative voltage spike for about 100ns which is clamped by an internal diode of the input structure. Naturally, this clamping voltage is around -0,7V and therefore lower than -0,3V given in the absolute maximum ratings. My question is now:Which current magnitude of negative injection can be tolerated by IPM?I could reduce the voltage spike by decrease the resistance in the RC-filter and increase the capacitance simultaneously. That will however require me to use a line driver between the MCU and the IPM, which is no nice solution in my opinion.Best regards!CHEG

I’ve designed a flyback w/ Viper27HD.  Turn on voltage is 120Vdc.  Max design input volutage is 500Vdc.  Output voltage is 12V.  I designed the VCC tertiary winding for 16V, but due to spike rectification the actual votlage is 20.2V for Viper VCC.  The prime supply is a MagnaPower SLx-1.5-500-3-xxxxx power supply with voltage, current, power, control and + and - slew rate control. The Viper “wakes up” when the input voltage is at ~110V.  I have an internal POR circuit that holds off my controls until 250 ms later.  When the POR ends, the 12V housekeeping power is used to energize the gate drive of a FET from the input power rail to a large capacitor bank through a 40 Ohm “Soft Start” resistor.  When the gate drive initiates, the Viper chip shuts down for 22 ms which temporarily glitches the housekeeping power.  I’m using a FOD2711 isolation regultor for FB control. I observe: VCC of Viper is STABLE through the shutdown. Hi everyone,I am using the STGAP3SXS isolated gate driver on my custom PCB, but I am unable to get it to operate correctly.I have attached my schematic for reference.I tested the driver in two different configurations:With all protection circuits enabled (DESAT, Miller clamp, etc.) With the protection circuitry removed/disabled (minimal configuration)In both cases, the behavior is exactly the same.ObservationsPin 13 (DIAG) remains HIGH. Pin 14 (RST) also remains HIGH. No gate output is generated.According to the datasheet, DIAG is the diagnostic output and RST is the active-low reset/shutdown input. Dear all. I am currently planning to design a circuit without a DCDC, following the sequence VBat -> VDH -> VBP. To apply the L9908 to a 48V system, is it sufficient to set the voltage applied to the VBP pin from the DCDC to 36V or lower,as shown in Figure 91 of the datasheet?If so, what is the reason for using it in conjunction with a transistor like Tvbp1?Alternatively, what happens if only Tvbp1 is used without the DCDC?Since VDH and VBP each have monitoring functions, wouldn't there be no problem using them separately?  Thank you.

Hi all,Ive been hand-populating prototype boards around an SPV1050 and for 2 out of 2 boards so far I’ve noticed the SPV1050 being defective right from the beginning. I then replaced the IC  via hot air rework and it worked flawlessly. That makes me wonder if my soldering setup kills the IC.Im using chipquik low temp soldering paste (the syringe is pretty empty, so it is far from fresh) and a Mini Heat plate with the default profile:80 sec rise to 150°C 80 sec rise to 170°C 60 sec rise to 230 90 sec keep at 230°C for soldering slow cooldownAre there any AN’s for this IC regarding soldering? Are there any more resources to understand how to use STEVAL-HARVEST1, how does the energy flow from super capacitors to the MCU and also the back up capacitors. I feel few things are missing the schematic and the user guide. I want to first implement a small UART program with energy harvesting. I am connecting IPMM15B’s J2 to IHM09M2's J7. There are  documents showing how J7 is aligned and where it is situated on the board. But I have no idea how J2 is oriented. The schematic is too brief. It could be opposite aligned if I turned the board around to the inverse side. I don’t know how the pins should be connected. I need to know where pin1 pin2 is situated on the board.

Dear Sir/Madam,We use STPS20200CG-TR Schottky diode in our unit. This diode has operating junction temperature range -40C...175C and storage temperature range -65...175C. Our unit must start operating at -55C. Will STPS20200CG-TR operate at -55C ambient temperature without being damaged and which parameters may deteriorate?Thank you,Alex

I am using an LDL1117S50R fixed voltage, 5 V regulator. I am regulating down from +12V to +5V. Our +12V supply is clean.It’s a pretty simple circuit; one 1 uF capacitor at the input, and one 100 nF, one 1 uF, and one 4.7 uF capacitor at the output. I don’t need an enormous load; 500 mA is sufficient.It was working great at first, but once I reach a load of about 200 mA, it began oscillating unstably at about 2.2. kHz. See the screenshot below. I was using a Rigol electronic load to test this. This problem also appears to be intermittent. See the screenshots below. It’s fine, and then unstable, and then fine again, and unstable. The period of instability is not consistent. My PCB is good. The input and output caps are close to the pins and I’ve used low ESR ceramic capacitors.Does anyone have any idea what this may be?

Hello,I use a STPM32 on a battery charge system. The STPM32 is associated with an ESP32 module.The driver used is from ST (V1.0, 17 may 2016).I want to detect some defaults with interrupt, and I configure the interrupt mask only for current and voltage swell.But when I launch a battery charge, an interrupt is triggered (the period error interrupt) which is not masked.I don't understand this behavior and don't find an answer in the datasheet.Any help would be appreciated !Best regardsGilles.

Hello ST export:This is the first time we've used the L9305 chip in our project. The peripheral hardware circuitry is now all set up. I'd like to know whether ST has a standard recommended initialization procedure for the SPI interface of this chip. (such as who is first for BIST or diagnostic comparators)And I have another question: the status and results for BIST are in the EXCEPTION1 register D[8:7], is it correct? Shouldn't it be D[10:9]? 

Following this issue, and the advice from ​@Didier HERROUIN, we have implemented the SYN and SCS initialisation,(see schematic) , and are still finding that our STPM32 chips are resetting their UART config during operation.For context, the firmware first pulses SYN 3 times, then SCK, and configures the STPM32 UART to 115200 baud. This runs fine for a few minutes, and then we detect a failure because the chip resets to 9600 baud for no reason, leading to a timeout on the microcontroller.The voltage supply to this device is perfectly stable at 3.3V.We have followed all advice regarding isolation and ground planes, as you can see in the attached PCB design.I desperately require assistance with this problem. My only solution now is to re-configure the STPM32 every time it resets, but this will definitely lead to inaccuracies as some energy measurements will be lost during configuration and timeout detection. The only common thread I can piece together is a hint from one Mark Germagian, who
