In CubeMX 6.1, 6.1.1, 6.2, the feature "<Ctrl+Click> To Show Alternate(s)" has been broken. At least it doesn't work for me which makes pin assigment difficult. Has anyone seen this?

Hi @BVu ,

Thanks for your feedback.

Actually STM32CubeMX is still supporting the "<Ctrl+Click> To Show Alternate(s)" feature, it is just improved to be easily seen in the GUI pinout view.

Thus, to manually remap a function to another pin, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Press the CTRL key, click the pin in the Pinout view and hold that click for few seconds. Possible pins for relocation ( if any) will be blinking.
  2. Drag the function to the target pin.

In fact, the STM32CubeMX user manual wasn't updated to match this enhancement which may be confusing. This will be reported internally to be reviewed and fixed.

Thank you for your contribution.
