Would an L6206 dual bridge be damaged if it was unpowered, but the INputs and Enables had signal voltage on them?

The processor controlling the bridge has a different power source than that powering the bridge VSa,b inputs. The grounds are the same. So it could be that the bridge would be unpowered, but the control inputs to the L6206 would have valid logic inputs on them. Would this damage the bridge chip, or is it able to handle this condition?

Hello @KLand.1  and welcome to the ST Community.

The L6206 is able to manage the input signals even if there is no VS power supply.

Pay special attention during the device power-up and power-down phases.

During these transitory I suggest to keep low the enable lines (ENA and ENB) in order to disable the power stages (OUT pins in high impedance).
