Timers Interrupts NOT WORKING STM32F401RE

JCuer.2

Hi guys!

I'm trying to do a simple blinking led using interrupts but they never get fired.

I'm using 84 MHz clock frequency and the following options:

As you can see, I'm just using HAL_TIM_Base_Start_IT(&htim10); and HAL_TIM_PeriodElpasedCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim) but timer never get fired on my STM32F401RE.

Am I doing something wrong?

By they way, it is not working in any timer :(

Thank you in advance!

UPDATE:

It seems that "HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback" in "stm32f4xx_hal_tim.c" is not choosing the one function in "main.c" but "__weak void HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim)" in that very same file. How can I fix this?

Check you have the NVIC configured and the IRQHandler side plumbing.

Check that it generated the code, rather than clicking buttons.

Up vote any posts that you find helpful, it shows what's working..

Thanks @Community member ,

I have made an update.

The Timer seems to be working since the LED toggle If I do this:

void TIM1_UP_TIM10_IRQHandler(void)
{
  /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM1_UP_TIM10_IRQn 0 */
  HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_5);
  /* USER CODE END TIM1_UP_TIM10_IRQn 0 */
  HAL_TIM_IRQHandler(&htim10);
  /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM1_UP_TIM10_IRQn 1 */

  /* USER CODE END TIM1_UP_TIM10_IRQn 1 */
}

The problem seems that "HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback" in "stm32f4xx_hal_tim.c" is not choosing the one function that I wrote in "main.c" under "/* USER CODE BEGIN 4 * "but "__weak void HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim)" in that very same file.

Do you know why this is happening?
