Things I miss from TrueStudio...

Wood.Andy
Associate III

Right-clicking a folder and having the option to Add/Remove Include Path.

In Debug Mode if you are running and want to Restart you could just click Restart, now you have to click pause first so Restart is not disabled.

There are probably more, but none so useful before and annoyingly gone...

Thanks

Andy.

Hi Wood.Andy,

It is so good to hear from you and thank you for updating us on missing features!

I have added these requests into the internal product bugzilla system.

Hi Ejhoa

Nice to see that somebody does look at this!

And another one...

In TrueStudio when you Terminate a debug session it stops, drops back to the C/C++ perspective and leaves the view unchanged.

In Cube it will quite often open the file where it is before going back to the C/C++ perspective which means you end up with loads of files open that you did not want.

Thanks

Andy.

Looks like both fixed in v 1.6.0!

Another one...

You used to be able to build one file if you Window > Perspective > Customise Perspective > Menu Visibility > Project > Uncheck Build Automatically

But it does not work anymore - could we have that back as well please?

Thanks

Andy.

Hi Wood.Andy,

It was good to hear that you found that both features you reported are fixed in v1.6.0.

Regarding building of one file it should work already! However, the setting you mention should not be used.

1. Please make sure Build Automatically is checked in Menu Visibility

Window > Perspective > Customise Perspective > Menu Visibility > Project > Build Automatically

2. Open menu Project and Disable "Build Automatically".

3. Now when selecting one or several files in project explore and opening the context menu it shall display "Build selected file(s)"

That’s great!
Thanks
Andy.
