Detailed STM32f1xx HAL library reference

I've been driving myself crazy trying to learn STM32 programming. I've selected an STM32f103c8 to try and program. I've searched low and high, and have not found a detailed reference for the HAL libraries. Any links to such references or good tutorials would be great.

The comments at the top of the source files are the best documentation to look at, in my opinion.
