Difference between "GP version" vs "PD version"

Barry Richards

I am looking at the datasheet for the STM32G071KBT6 and several of the footprints are shown twice, once as "GP version" and again as "PD version"

What does GP and PD mean?

The difference is the UCPD peripheral along with the pinout on the top row (and pin 17, not highlighted).

Guessing PD is power delivery (as in USB-C Power Delivery) and GP is general purpose.

I did not realize there were that may variations in a MCU family, amazing.

Thanks TDK.
