IS ST-Link in ROM ?

I apologize but I have a lot of difficulties to work with this forum. When I wrote me question, i had a lot of 'already answered' but I was not able to type my question !!!!!

I am new to STM32. I bought a STM32F7508-DK board. There are some demo apps on it and ST-Link is working.

If I create my own app, it will delete the previous ones. But do I have to take care of ST-Link or is it in ROM and then always working ?

TIA

StLink is an additional Chip (STM32F103 or STM32F723) implementing debug, swo and uart access. There is nothing that you need in the target STM32F750 and you do not have to take care. Even if you remap the SWJ pind in yout F750 application, you can gain access by connect under reset.
