How to change STM32CubeMX Firmware repositort folder ?

I have STM32CubeMX and STM32CubeIDE installed, but each use a different Firmware repositort folder.

So I have to download (with a slow ADSL line) and install twice every firmware package.

I want to install the package in a directory out of C:/users/Admin because I doesn't have the right to search in these directories.

The repository path and button is grayed in the Updater settings:

What can I do ?

Hello @Nikita91​ ,

The Repository Folder could not be changed while a project is open, to change it just after you opened the STM32CubeMX tool (help / updater settings) before creating you project.

STM32CubeMX is allowing you to update firmware repository thru Help > Updater Settings.

Same is doable if STM32CubeIDE Thanks Windows > Preferences

 

Obviously you can point to same shared folder. Good pratice would be to avoid any special or blank char within such path.
