Hi @Bacteriusartnik ,

ok I just see you have edited the post.

LSM303AH and ISM303DAC are very similar chip: the main difference is that the ISM303DAC ha been qualified in industrial conditions, while the LSM303AH ins standard conditions.

If your application is not industrial, you can use the LSM303AH.

Hi @Bacteriusartnik ,

are you referring to the LSM303DLH, right?

The ISM303DAC device has in general better performances than LSM303DLH one, especially regarding:

  • higher resolution for the accelerometer (sensitivity on 16 bits);
  • wider magnetometer full scale;
  • industrial grade qualification;
  • currently available on the market.

Hi,

I have a related question: Can we use ISM303 for Tilt-compensated compasses application as well? When checking the datasheet, Tilt-compensated compasses is mentioned only in the 'Applications' of LSM303 and not in ISM303.

I was looking to ISM303 for a Tilt-compensated compass application. Can you please share your comments?

Thanks
