ST-Link firmware on STM32F

Hi

In my design I want to place a dedicated STM32F for debugging with st-link via USB.

Where do I get the initial binary code? and how do I flash the device with it?

For my understanding following that I can use the st-link firmware upgrade utility.

Thanks

You would get it from the interwebs.

ST doesn't appear to want to sell or licence such a solution. Perhaps looks to Segger for a commercial products.

The closest ST has got to this is the ST-LINK/V3MODS board.

Tips, buy me a coffee, or three.. PayPal Venmo Up vote any posts that you find helpful, it shows what's working..

Hi @deckhard

we propose you to use ST-Link V3 MOD which has been designed for this purpose.

Best regards, Tilen

What people actually wanted was a preprogramed IC like one can get from ATMEL/MICROCHIP via a distributor. Or some simple design/licensing methodology.

Asking your ST representative may be some other idea. And searching the web for the bootloader may also work.
