We're evaluating STM32 controllers in our product. We have shortlisted the following 3 MUCs from STM32H7, STM32F7 & STM32F4 which has same IC package - UFBGA176+25 (10 x 10 mm).
Any one MCU will be used in the design. Our intent is to change MCU based on needed performance without changing PCB layout design (i.e., drop-in replacement).
(1) STM32F429IIH6 (2) STM32F765IIK6 (3) STM32H743IIK6
Questions:
1) STM32F429IIH6, STM32F765IIK6 and STM32H743IIK6 are direct drop-in replacements?
2) Comparison chart attached for these 3 MCUs. Is there any reason why H743 is lesser cost as compared to other F765 & F429?
