How do I use the IAR I-Jet with the Nucleo-H743ZI2?

  1. I have removed STLINK jumper from JP2.
  2. I have connected I-Jet to MIPI10.
  3. On I-Jet, I see USB and TPWR LEDs are green, and DBG LED is off.
  4. When downloading code get error: CPU did not power up.
  5. None of the Nucleo's LEDs are on. Seems like there is no power to the CPU? I thought the power came from the I-Jet?

Hi GRoss.5,

To explain this to you, for the Nucleo board there is the possibility to power it using the Stlink, but it is not possible to power it with the I-Jet.

This explains why you receive an error accessing the CPU.

You will need the use of external power (e.g GBF ) in order to power on your Nucleo board.

Thanks Imen,

I've got the I-jet connected as follows: I-Jet to MIPI10; JP2 set to CHGR; user USB connected to PC; STLINK USB connected to PC. The power is coming from the STLINK USB connection. Is there anyway I can get the power from the user USB connection? This would allow me to remove the connection from STLINK USB to PC.

Wire the hot side of R60 or R62 to the 5V side of JP2
