Hi, We are planning to use MP34DT05-A MEMS microphone from STMicro. Our application frequency range is 20Hz to 20KHz. The data sheet shows frequency response only up to 10KHz. Is this part suitable for application up to 20KHz, if not what is the max freq?

Hi @GKris.1​ , the MP34DT05-A is suitable for 20Hz-20kHz band measures in the sense that there is no drop of sensitivity in that acoustic range. However, you have to pay attention to the eventual "gasket" in front of the sound port, especially for the high frequencies, because if not properly designed it can cause the Helmholtz resonance of the system to fall inside the acoustical band (as described in the AN4427; see also AN4426 p.15).
