ST-LinkUpgrade.exe tool brokes my Nucleo-F411RE board.

Indeed, I've just bought a brand new Nucleo-F411RE, connect it to my computer and sent a simple program that is doing a printf, so I can see it in the serial monitor ( I'm using MBed studio ).

Then I've launched ST-LinkUpgrade.exe clicked on "Connect device" to see the firmware number, and do nothing else than close the window after that.

Back to Serial monitor and see that my printf is no more displayed.

I tried to unplug/plug the board with no result.

So my question would be, why the ST-LinkUpgrade.exe tool has done that ? Is the board in a specific mode that prevents my program to run ?

Can you help ?

Thanks

Perhaps you are stuck in the bootloader. Try un- and replug. Als check with another USB cable and USB port.
