Did you mean:

D2 in RUN mode and D1 in STANDBY.

Hi,

I'm using a dual core H7 and I'd like to use the only the M4 in some situation, having the D1 domain in Stand-by.

It seems that there is no example for such configuration and I'm struggling to make it work by myself.

I'm wondering what shall be the initialization sequence for both M4 and M7. Shall I initialize the clock from M4? Can the M7 go in stand-by by itself or shall I do that from the M4?

Any help appreciated...

Thank you,

Greg

I think I understand why I had some problems running the M4 only. The flash is attached to the M7, so if I put the D1 in standby, the flash may be not accessible anymore. I guess that I have to execute the M4 code from SRAM... Would be great if anyone could confirm.

Hello,

Yes you can put the D1 domain in Standby mode and execute code from SRAM in the D2 domain.

You can refer to the application note AN5215 for more details.

Best Regards,

Mohamed Aymen.
