What is the significance of Window Length while making a MLC configuration?

TSchi.2269

I know the theoretical values of sample length and window length. However, I do not know if this parameter is linked to the Accelerometer ODR, or the MLC ODR. Currently, my MLC is at 104 Hz, while my Accelerometer ODR is at 6666 Hz. What calculation/values are "standard"? What is a good way to go about with these MLC and Acc. ODR's?

Thanks!

Hi @TSchi.2269, if you set the axl ODR to 6.66kHz and the MCL ODR to 104Hz, and you are running the MLC, the 104Hz ODR will dominate, and no need to set 6.66kHz for the accelerometer. The widow length is time window for the features computation. It is expressed as number of samples, and it is common for all the decision trees running in parallel. It should be chosen depending on the specific application (e.g. ODRs, Latency). Note that if you are using Unico tool to set up the MLC, when the Profi-MEMS board is connected the tool automatically suggests the ODRs and full-scales currently used by the device.
