Can I read the existing code from flash through JTAG for STM32F439 MCU?

I am using STM32F439 MCU in my project. Currently I am trying to flash the code through Demonstrator GUI but unit is not entering into boot code. So, now I will use JTA /ST-Link/v2 to flash the code but before this I want to download the existing load from flash through ST-Link/v2. Is it possible? If not, please suggest any other option.

Both the ST-LINK Utilities and STM32 Cube Programmer can read current content to a BIN or HEX file, provided the device isn't protected.

Device is not protected, so I can download hex file from the device. Isn't it?
