I will look at a board later, highlights say it has 8 to 14 bit DCMI, but don't recall it shipping with one or using STs header like other EVAL boards.

ok, please check and let me know. appreciate your help

Only mention of camera in front-page paragraph, no other headers or reference to DCMI.

You could perhaps go over the expansion pin headers for DCMI pins, but heavier lift than I'm up for.

@Imen DAHMEN @Amel NASRI can you check the manuals and landing page to see if the camera reference has any additional support, or just from other EVAL board docs.

Hello @vini ,

On the STM32L4R9I-Eval board, we do not have a dedicated connector for the camera. So, it required to check the DCMI pins/alternate function and added manually a module supported a parallel camera interface.

The AN5020 “Application note Digital camera interface (DCMI) for STM32 MCUs?, mentioned some camera modules that are compatible with the STM32 DCMI, as ArduCAM.

Best Regards,

Imen
