When stumped, I've found that the examples in the various board zip files that STMCubeIDE downloads are very helpful. However none of them are structured in a way that I know how to load into the 'modern' STM32CubeIDE. is there any documentation aimed at a new user of the STM32CubeIDE ecosystem, wanting to compile or modify or run the example code? the readme.txt seems to refer to keil and other IDEs I am not familiar with.
a 'quick start guide to getting the samples running' from the POV of someone who has bought a nucleo board and download STM32CubeIDE as their first (and only) STM IDE would be enormously helpful.
For now, I've got used to generating a new blank project using the IDE, then copying bits of the initialization code from the example, scattering the bits into the various c files in the IDE generated project. But there must be an easier way....?
