BlueNRG-MS pin 1.8V connected to VDD, is it a major issue? May it be corrected via software?

Hello everyone,

We're currently developing a PCB using as a reference the STEVAL-WESU project, and we've accidentally tagged the pin 12 (VDD1V8) as "Blue_VDD", this is, the power supply voltage of the whole module (the same as the input provided to VBAT1, VBAT2 and VBAT3). We're trying to make it work, as we're communicating succesfully with the chip (debugging it we can see the parameters to be read and configured correctly) so at least we haven't burnt the chip. At the moment our board works fine except for this, and we need the BLE service for our project, so we're trying to make it work at least for this small batch (and next batch will be produced with the corrected version). Could it be that this error is making the antenna to not communicate? We'l try to get access to an spectrum analyzer because we want to check if anything is being transmitted throug the antenna pin, but at the moment we cannot access this instrument.

Also, if you can provide any kind of software solution for patching this up, it would be awesome. In hardware, we have it really difficult to disconnect the pin, as it is supplied with a nearby laser via (0.1mm of diameter).

Thanks in advance for your time. Regards,

Manuel
