How to get LIS2DW12 bandwidth = 3200 Hz

Hi,

Could anyone to explain the meaning of "3200" number in Table 10. Operating modes - low-noise setting disabled (LIS2DW12 Datasheet).

Is it Bandwidth in Hz?

What is practical meaning of it if max ODR is resricted to 200 Hz only?

BR, Oleg

Hi @OPush , unfortunately there is no possibility to have an ODR=3200Hz... Let me explain: the "3200Hz" refers to the bandwidth of the signal before the filtering chain, in low power mode (12-bit, the less consuming mode): it refers to the risk for an high frequency disturbance to get folded in the ORD/2 bandwidth (alias effect), so increasing the unwanted sensor noise. In fact the anti-alias filter is available only in the high performance mode, where the signal can be well filtered above 400Hz. The practical (almost useless in some cases) meaning is to filter some of the "aliasable" noise. Regards
