Hello @Community member ,

Which Cubemx version ?

Try to delete .stm32cubemx folder and tell me is it ok or not.

Best regards,

Khouloud.

I have different CubeMX Versions installed (WIN10),

e.g.

C:\Program Files\STMicroelectronics\STM32Cube\STM32CubeMX-5.2.1

C:\Program Files\STMicroelectronics\STM32Cube\STM32CubeMX-5.3.0

C:\Program Files\STMicroelectronics\STM32Cube\STM32CubeMX-5-4-0

Sorry the previous ioc file has a problem with SAI4 BDMA , it does not open with Version 5.3.0 or 5.4.0.

I have mentioned this in another post. Please check also this problem.

see attached log file

--------------

to delete .stm32cubemx in windows users directory is not the best idea, I loose the settings in Cubemx package manager, no more firmware is installed.

I have renamed .stm32cubemx and could revert back to original settings.

--------------

I have attached another .ioc file which was created with MxCube.Version=5.2.1

For test I have copied only the .ioc file in another folder (nothing else in this folder).

It seems that there are some settings which change if I open this file with different CubeMX versions.

try to open with 5.4.0

--> wrong message that FW_H7 V1.4.0 is not available in repository (but FW_H7 V1.4.0 is installed)

I press cancel !

try to open with 5.3.0

--> correct message that FW_H7 V1.4.0 is not the latest

I press cancel !

try again to open with 5.4.0 (double click on .ioc file)

--> project opens normal with no migration dialog

I press cancel !

try again to open with 5.4.0 (double click on .ioc file)

--> wrong message that FW_H7 V1.4.0 is not available in repository

I press cancel !

that's really confusing ?
