Hi,
I'm designing a beacon around the BlueNRG-2 and would like to power it from a battery that can output as much as 3.67V. Unfortunately this exceeds the max Vin limit on the datasheet (3.6V) by only 70mV. I have a couple of questions in the hopes of reducing complexity and improving efficiency.
- I've heard some MFGs relax the limits on a part over time, is there any chance that this may be the case with the BlueNRG-2? If so, what is the most up to date limit?
- Is there any concern about regulating the battery to the limit of Vin, i.e. 3.6V? Are there some conditions in which this could be problematic?
