SPV1050 and undevoltage protection

I'm working with the SPV1050 Evaluation Board (STEVAL-ISV020V1) and I'm doing first tests. Undevoltage protection is set to 3.7V. But, what does it happen if a battery is below 3.7V? It seems it is never charged, right? How can I charge a battery that is new/discarched with level below this threshold?

Apart of this, how can I setup the Imp-max? According to datasheet it can be set up to 100mA, but it is not clear how to set it. Is it only required to change Cstore value?

Hi Daniel,

Did u find a solution for your problem of undervoltage protection ? I'm using SPV1050 with the same evaluation board (STEVAL-ISV020V1).

If yes, can you please help me ?

Good morning,

Finally I refused to use SPV1050.

I changed design orientation and I based my battery charge on another type of device.

Sorry for that.

Thank you. would mind inform me what device have you used instead to replace the SPV1050? cause I cannot find another device having approximately the same specifications.

Maybe I can check the device you used if it is suitable for my application.

Thank you for your help.
