SPBTLE-1S connected with Android App and other BLE device on same time

SProg

Hello,

We developed a device using SPBTLE-1S that sends and receives data (like SPP) to an Android application (on a mobile phone), based on the BLE_Chat firmware example.

We would also like to include one more device on the above configuration, can the SPBTLE-1S serve a second connection on the same time?

I am attaching a picture to clear what i mean:

Hi SProg,

Yes, SPBTLE-1S (BlueNRG-1) can serve a second connection at the same time.

Sample project and scripts are available in DK 3.1.0 and BlueNRG GUI 3.1.0:

  • BlueNRG-1_2 DK 3.1.0\Project\BLE_Examples\BLE_MS_Formula\
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\STMicroelectronics\BlueNRG GUI 3.1.0\Application\scripts\Multiple_Connection
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\STMicroelectronics\BlueNRG GUI 3.1.0\Application\scripts\MultipleConnections_Formula

Thank you.

Kind remind that this query is supposed to be posted in Low Power RF Solutions instead, because it is not related to BLE Mesh.

Best Regards,
