On-Top Board which fit on the Connectors CN1 ... CN2 of the STM3240G-EVAL

Hello everybody!

A short questen: I crashed the uC on the STM3240G_EVAL,

so is there a On-Top Board what fit on the Connectors CN1 ... CN2 ?

.. Also a board to switch fast the microcontroller ..

I searched for it, but didn't find such a board.

Thanks, Dirk

Can't currently pull the manual, but the headers typically provide for a motor or add-on board, not as processor replacement.

The foot-print around the CPU allows for a ZIF Clam-Shell or Screw Down Socket. These tend to be quite expensive.

If you have the equipment/skill you can removed/replace the CPU chip itself.

How did you damage it?

Tips, buy me a coffee, or three.. PayPal Venmo Up vote any posts that you find helpful, it shows what's working..

Hey,

I did not exactly know how I crashed the uC.

It was not a short circuit or overcurrent problem.

At some point it wasn't able to debug or flash the controller.

With another Board (Olimex E407) was it still possible,

so it seams to be not a debugging /GDB-Server -Connection specific problem.

Due the STM3240G-EVAL - board is realy good, but quity expensive, I like to change the

uC - not the Board, the BGA-Package makes it not easy, but I will try it.

Maybe with a reflow ofen after demounting the display...

Do You agree with this method or do You suggest another method?

ps

correction to my question: i meaned CN 1 .. CN 4 (not only CN1 ... CN2)
