How to configure POWERSTEP01 to limit Motor Phase Current

Jean DEMBEGA

Hey,

i bought <nucleo-F401RE> and <x-NUCLEO-IHM03A1> boards in order to drive the NEMA 17 "QSH-4218-51" bipolar step motor. this one can be supply under 24V with 1A phase current. Using "BASETech-305" Volage Generator, i supplie the <x-NUCLEO-IHM03A1> with 24V and 3A and then load the program <IHM03A1_ExampleForRegisterHandling> of <en.x-cube-spn3> driver to the <nucleo-F401RE>.

Now when i Run the Program, the Motor Run to some position. But when the motor stop, the "BASETech-305" detect an short-circuit. in addition, the Step motor heats up quickly. i got same result with current mode and votage mode configuration.

I would like to know how to configure the <x-NUCLEO-IHM03A1> to limit the phase current of the stepper motor to 1A or less and why the voltage generator detect a short circuit. is ther any guide or document showing how to configure the <x-NUCLEO-IHM03A1> phase current? is there any formula for this?
