Anyone share the knowledge to connect the LPUART to STLINK virtual com port? ST sample code does not work.

I followed the instruction based on UM2179 User manual section 6.11 (on pp26) LPUART1 communication, "The LPUART1 interface available on PG7 and PG8 of the STM32 can be connected to the ST-LINK or to the ST morpho connector. Another option to do this connection is to set the related solder bridges. By default the LPUART1 communication between the target STM32 and the ST-LINK is enabled, to support the virtual COM port (SB130 and SB131 ON)."

Since the board came in with the SB193 & SB195 ON (zero ohm), I removed both of them to make sure they are OFF and SB130 and SB131 both ON. However, when I rebuilt the sample code released by ST (STM32Cube_FW_L4_V1.13.0), after the HAL_UART_Transmit(...), there was no character output to terminal. The same terminal I can use for USART3.
