Cube MX template project + Error during code generation

Hi all,

I'm starting with touch GFX on STM32F429 discovery, I find the firmware example, but I want to have the cubeMx template project for the STM32F429 discovery example ?

Can ST share it ?

the second issue that I'm facing is that sometimes when working with touch GFX designer I have the following error : "Error during code generation" and when occurred I can't anymore Run Target and simulator, so I'm obliged to create another new project.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this issue please ?

Have a look at this .ioc file. It creates an IAR projects that compiles. You can read this article that details how to finish the configuration of the project.

The STM32F429I-DISCO application template will be out soon so you can access the .ioc file through projects you create using the TouchGFX designer.

I have an issue with the cube project you sent, I configured the right path of GFX Designer, but the "Execute" bottom is not activated?!!

Try to go to a different tab and then come back to this screen. Does that fix the Execute button?

No that does not fix the issue.

I tried with the package that I found in this thread

and the "execute" Bottom is working.

I'm trying now to make a clean project with MDK KEIL.

@Community member​ , from the last time we reviewed the use of MDK Keil, the compiler did NOT work. Believe that Keil and Atollic integration are being worked on by the ST staff. If you do find a solution or if it works for you, please post your update here for future readers. Thanks.

As of now, an .ioc file in the F429 is not included in the TouchGFX DEsigner example, but please note that we are working on implementing a F429 TouchGFX  Designer example which includes an .ioc file.

Are you able to share your TouchGFX Log file? Thank you.
