Can't connect to MCU using ST-Link V2/ISOL

Hello all,

I'm a bit confused because I'm trying since hours to connect to the STM32F105RB MCU on my board using ST-Link V2/ISOL with ST-Link utility or IAR EWB but it doesn't work. I'm always getting a "Can not connect to target" error.

It is NOT a new board I'm trying to connect to. I have programed many of them using a IAR J-Link debug probe for months now. But sadly I had destroyed the J-Link a while ago :-(!

I'm already using ST-Link V2/ISOL adaptors for an other board with the same STM32F105RB MCU and an identical debug layout (jtag) and debug & programming works without problems.

I've updated the ST-Link FW to the newest version, tried it with different USB and probe cables, with different boards, with both ST-Links I have, different software settings - but nothing really works...

My cable setup is:

ST-Link Pin MCU

-------------------------------------------------------------------

01 VAPP VDD

03 TRST JNRST

05 TDI PA15, JTDI

07 TMS_SWDIO PA13, JTMS

09 TCK_SWCLK PA14, JTCK

13 TDO_SWO PB3, JTDO

15 NRST NRST

20 GND GND

Does any one have an idea what I'm doing wrong?

Any help & hints are very welcome!

Thanks,

Roger
