CM0 binary image

Does the binary for the CM0 need to be at a specific offset in the flash or can it be any part of the flash memory map in the flash? (any part would make for an easy dl and the then the cm4f just points the cm0 there during init).

Hi @Hedley ,

Many thanks for your interest for our STM32WB device!

Regarding your question, the CM0+ binary shall be loaded at top of the STM32 memory below the secure area, it will then be installed in secured area.

Khouloud.

I add a precision that this procedure is valid for all parts/board received before the 20 February 2019. Since the availability under this link of the package V1.0.0 of https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/embedded-software/mcu-mpu-embedded-software/stm32-embedded-software/stm32cube-mcu-mpu-packages/stm32cubewb.html

, the procedure described inside this package, under the directory Projects/STM32WB_Copro_Wireless_Binaries must be followed to change the wireless stack. The complete procedure for each board of P-NUCLEO-WB55 is described inside the release note of this directory.

You can also note that the wireless stack binaries provided inside the package is not compatible with the parts/boards received before 20 February 2019.
