I design a board on which there will be several microcontrollers (STM32 and ATMEGA328), 12V comes on the board and I need to lower this voltage to 5V. In addition to the controllers, I will power a few more sensors and LEDs.
I am trying to find a reliable dc / dc converter. Sample requirements:
- Input voltage: 12V
- Output voltage: 5V
- Output current 2.5-3A
- High efficiency
- Resistance to noise
- Minimum strapping
After reading the recommendations, I saw a DC / DC converter ST1S40.
The question is whether this converter is suitable for powering my board? Are there any other options?
