Is it possible to flash the new version directly in STM32 ST-Link?

Hello,

I flash my STM32 boards with the STM32 ST-Link Tool. But everytime I update my hex file I have to select the new one manually. Is there a way to let to do it itself?

Sorry, I misunderstood your question.

You can try the newer tool by ST - STM32CubeProg. I didn't check it myself but Amel NASRI wrote here ( https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009XkX1xSAF/stm32-cube-programmer-limitations ) that that same feature that you want (which was requested by Clive then) should be implemented in 1.3.0 (which is already released now).

There is a batch mode, when you select just once and all is left to do is connecting/disconnecting your devices to be flashed to the ST-Link.

Thanks for the reply.

I got no problem to flash it myself. I want that, when I press flash, ST-Link realizes that the loaded hex file isn't the newest one and loades the new one directly so that I don't have to do it (and maybe forget it).
