MCU Selector should list USB HS PHY

Uwe Bonnes

To whom it may concern,

the MCU selector should have an entry in the peripheral selection list for USB HS PHY on chip.

Thanks

What do you mean by "MCU selector"?

There is a long lasting and far-reaching confusion about the FS-PHY-on-HS-OTG_USB. There are datasheets (e.g. in the 'F7 line) where in the GPIO matrix table the OTG_HS_DP/DM pins are listed in a column headed OTG_FS.

I meant https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/st-mcu-finder.html MCU Finder and devices with built in HS phy, like the STM32F723.

Hello @Uwe Bonnes ,

The STM32 MCUs providing a USB 2.0 OTG HS controller with embedded on-chip HS PHYs are STM32F7x3 and STM32F730Z/I.

I will highlight your suggestion internally and keep you posted about any update regarding it.

Thanks a lot for your contribution to the enhancement of our STM32 resources.
