We are using a 1.5KE series Transil component (1.5KE300ARL), for protecting a device in continuous operation.
We have some doubts regarding thebehaivour of the Transil in continuous operation.
The power dissipation is very low (it only works about 120ns, with a 2.5kHz frequency), but we have doubts if the continuous operation could have any effect that we don´t know (electromigration, corrosion or something like that)
Is there any problem working continuously? Is there any consideration to take into account? Do you have any Application Note or technical information for such operation mode?
