STM32L5 is a great release from ST. An answer to the LPC5500 from NXP. L5 has much better analog peripherals and also better digital peripherals, but NXPs has coprocessor, dual core, 40nm technology and ethernet MAC.

I hope for a STM32L5 with ethernet MAC, I think that an IoT microcontroller should have networking capability.

An STM32L5 with HRTIM would be an great option to upgrade the STM32F334 in digital power applications.

Then it better should be something wireless rather than ethernet?
