When will the STM32H7 series would have official mbed-os support?

Hello,

We are considering upgrading our F4 boards we use in our products to the newer H7 series.

However, we use the mbed-os developement enviroment and official support is very important for us. Which right now does not exists.

We found old questions on the mbed-os forum regarding this issue, and all are outdated. Therefore we ask this question here:

Are there any plans to have mbed-os support?

If so, is there a timelime?

If not, why?

Thank you,

Ope

I think you should open an issue in their Github to get an official answer: https://github.com/ARMmbed/mbed-os/issues

There was one answered NO in February: https://github.com/ARMmbed/mbed-os/issues/6101

I ask in this forum because I believe the ST HAL maintainers are the ones doing most of the work in the ST mbed targets.

I assume that ST is the body that will contribute the support of it's board to mbed.

Therefore I ask the question in this forum. Am I mistaken?

I will also ask in their github, as well.

@STOne-32 please comment on strategy and road-map items.

Tips, buy me a coffee, or three.. PayPal Venmo Up vote any posts that you find helpful, it shows what's working..

Hi @OVirr ,

This topic is already addressed internally and we are working on it.

Hopefully, Mbed-os support will be available by end of the year.

Khouloud.
