ST-LINK Issue - Target unknown error 5010512

Dick Lin

Hi,

I am seeing the issue since yesterday for unable connect to target. Here is the message from TrueSTUDIO. Unable to connect using STM32 ST-LINK Utility as well.

I am guessing the ST-LINK device burned. We are using tag-connect TC2050 adapter and connector. My question is what might burn ST-LINK? How to know if the ST-LINK device is mal-function?

Thx

Test it on a working target? Have two so you can compare/contrast?

>>My question is what might burn ST-LINK?

The buffers, regulators or STM32F1

Found it, the VAPP (target VCC) on the JTAGE 20-pin connector is not right. Issue is on our board. Thx
