Hi,

I have a STEVAL-IDB002V1.

Which image file to use to update the BlueNRG stack to 6.4.

bluenrg_6_4_Mode_2-16MHz-XO32K. img

or

bluenrg_6_4_Mode_2-16MHz-XO32K_HCI.img

What is the difference between them?

Thanks

I thought that I understood the ST documentation to describe that the *_HCI.img builds (e.g. bluenrg_6_4_Mode_2-16MHz-XO32K_HCI.img) as being built to support ONLY the officially specified HCI commands (i.e. no vendor specific ACI) in order to be used for conformance testing.

Hi Dimitar,

to update the BlueNRG stack to version 6.4 you have to use the firmware image  ''bluenrg_6_4_Mode_2-16MHz-XO32K.img'', in fact as Code has said, the version *_HCI.img  supports only the HCI APIs (no GAP APIs)  and it is provided only for certification.
